Our focus this month is JOY. It is a spiritual fruit that we grow deeper in when we grow closer to God. Joy & happiness are different, the former is an expression of the spirit within us, while the latter is based on external circumstances & is temporary. Joy is made complete in Jesus, He gives us joy in all circumstances. It is not just something we feel intermittently. When we are filled with the Holy Spirit, joy is consistent, it is felt deep within us, it is unshakeable. The depth of joy is where we find the goodness of God & where we find our praise & rejoice for the Lord. We were made to glorify God, to rejoice always. We can find we are filled with joy the closer we grow with Him.
